It was another busy year improving the
world famous Purple Palace Mutant Vehicle / Art Car. This Year Deadman and Mojo spent over a
month away from
Our Wonderful and Beautiful friend Kitten
(Angela) Created our Fabulous new welcome sign this year!

After Weeks of hard work The Purple
Palace finally is complete for
Burning Man 2006 Hope and Fear the Future
Just after construction she can no longer
head south thru Gerlach?
We would take down every power line in
town and hit the first bridge we come to.
The third story foot level is 23 ft.
tall. (14 ft. is pushing the legal
limit…)(Talk about top heavy!!)

I owe so- many
different people thanks for all there help they did for myself and the
Angela (Kitten),
Adam (Laser Duckman), Andrea(Strawberry),Diamond Dave Power, Mike(Spirsy),
Erica, Patricia, Bex, were all part of my crew from
We had the
opportunity to have some friends that joined us several nights on the palace
last year come back and give a helping hand this year. One of the more difficult jobs on the
palace is doorman/security and they filled in more than one night. Thank You Darla, Scott, Jimmy, and
Deb!!!!!! Also Darla and
Scott thank you so much for the use of your generator after our diesel took a
crap. You made it possible for the
palace to keep boogieing.
A couple guys I
didn’t know at the start of the week stepped up and helped out multiple
nights at the door, they were Tayln, Johnny on the Spot (Brian), Daniel, and
that great pair of young men that I already forgot your names?? Help me
someone?
We had three
photographers that took many photos aboard during the last few days. They are going to share there work with
us and I’m sure it will be amazing.

Capt. Nemo gets
a giant Thanks and hug for driving two nights. He made it possible for me to enjoy the
work I created for the first time while moving and also got to catch a buzz,
Yeah!
I got a new
First mate, best friend and Girlfriend/lover at burning man this year. Every one that got on the Palace had the
distinct opportunity to meet her at the main door. Dizzy (Deb) came out for her first burn
and it seemed like her tenth. She
saw a couple important positions that needed to be filled and jumped right in
without even being asked. During
the week of burning man, the teardown of the palace and our drive home together
she was my savior like no other.

gentleman that lets us store the
Granite Propane,
Bruno’s Shell, the empire store, Home Depot, our steel wholesaler, the
weather gods, burning man, The Nexus Nebula Camp, The welder that died, The
flaming lotus girls, The Belgians that built the waffle, my friends and family
that support me even though this seems really weird, The sunrise saloon, and
every one in the universe that tries to make a difference……. Thank you
